Our ethos statement this week is 'I know when to ask for help and who to ask for help from'.
Mrs Joanne Procter
Welcome from the Head Teacher, Mrs Procter
Welcome to Christ the King Catholic Primary School. I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of such a wonderful school. Our staff provide an atmosphere where children can fully develop their talents and learn new skills. As a school we offer a wide range of sporting and musical opportunities. We have an amazing school choir and the biggest school brass band in the borough!
We are a friendly, caring school with high expectations for all our pupils. Our children are encouraged to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom.
As a Catholic school we offer our children the opportunity to grow as young people and encourage them to develop a closer relationship with God in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect; we seek to live out the values of Jesus Christ. We promote these values by our words and deeds recognising that every child is unique and is created in the image of God. We all follow our school mission to "Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself."
At Christ the King Catholic Primary School, we work hard to foster strong relationships with parents and carers. We send home a weekly newsletter so parents are always well-informed about what is happening within our school community. We do believe that the primary school experience is a partnership between school and home - and our door is always open!
